 SIRI ICON
Ok, so you braved the lines at the apple store to get yourself a brand spanking new Apple iPhone 4S. Now what? Lets play with Siri.
As more and more reports of the AI’s comments and responses come in, I thought that I would see what other easter eggs it has to offer, and the wonderful hidden gems that those sick programmers spent hours on comes to light slowly but surely.
And so here we go! The best thing is that its not just one canned response generated randomly – testing her over and over again Siri fanes being bored and starts to ask if there is any else that I should be doing. While I am limited to being in Canada and that means that we are unable to take advantage of the location services portion of SIRI we can still chat and have a good time!

 Apple's iCloud
Apple’s iCloud is an amazing tool, and I truly believe that the multi sync (or same data over multiple screens) is the way to go and the way of the further (TODAY!… sorry cheez) However they have sort of dropped the ball when it comes to the migration of the systems. needs to get their %$&@ together right now and figure out how to merge everyone’s ids with their mobile me accounts. I did the deed last night following the instructions. As it turns out I am not the only one.
When moving the accounts it sets you up with your apple id which I use my gmail account, and then it still has your mobile me account. This is causing sync issues now with my reminders and calendars, I have 2 cloud logins that reflect different aspects of my life, one has reminders and one has calendars. Which are separate… HA
Love the Cloud hate the merge!
Oh the other note it was amazingly easy no glitches to upgrade to OS5 on my 3GS!!!

Write a worthy Star Wars Prequel in Style with the new Star Wars Moleskine. That’s right – you can now find the droids you are looking when ever you want in style!
Ok.. I’m not saying that George Lucus did a bad job when he create the Star Wars prequels, I’m simply saying that it is in my humble opinion that I did a better job this morning on the toilet after a night of mexican food. Read More »

The latest from the Apple Rumour Mill is that the iPhone 5 will be an early October release. The Rumour stems from a memo that was leaked out to the public from the wonderful organization known as Sprint (All I can say is that if you think they are bad and expensive then please come to Canada to check out my Roger’s Bill). They seem to now have a blackout period from September 30th through October 15th due to a Read More »

From Podcasts to your garage band needs the Meteor Mic seems to have it down cold. With chrome steel from top to bottom this highly portable microphone is great competition for the Yeti line. Samson Audio has made this completely compatible with the IPad Audio Apps available via the App Store. The folding legs allows the user to create the perfect position for this cardioid microphone as well as making it easy to fold away and pop into its carrying pouch. Needless to say I am just impressed, then again – Its shinny and new so I am easy to please!
The Plug-and-Play USB microphone allows you to work with Most (if not all) PCs as well as Macs that have a decent audio system in them. It is composed of a 25mm diaphragm condenser, 16-bit audio channels, 44.1 / 49 kHz resolution and an integrated jack for monitoring WITHOUT any latency.
You can pick one up at stores for $99.00. More details are on the Samson website

After 4 years of Fans clinging to the hope that a new adaptation of Frank Herbert’s DUNE has been sunset.
In 1984 (the year not the movie) the big screen was complimented with DUNE: The Movie… well complimented is not really what Roger Ebert said at the time; being quoted in saying:
| “This movie is a real mess, an incomprehensible, ugly, unstructured, pointless excursion into the murkier realms of one of the most confusing screenplays of all time.” |
